Rapunzel smiled at him and then her eyes widened, time had gotten away from her and dusk had approached "Oh!" She exclaimed, placing her hand on Yato's arm and looking around at the darkening sky "I think it is time!" She said excitedly.

Yato nodded, springing up. "Back to the tree!" He proclaimed.

"Yes!" Rapunzel said, wrapping her hand around his arm and gently dragging him back to the tree with a little bounce in her step. "So, okay wow" she started "So we have to sit underneath the tree with the blades of grass in our laps and hold onto the branch with both hands"

Yato promptly sat down in front of the tree, dragging her down with him since he'd forgotten their arms was still linked.

"Wah" Rapunzel let out softly as she lost her footing and fell down, knocking into Yato's side accidentally when she hit the ground.

"Oh!" she blushed bright red (luckily it was getting dark and it wasn't as noticeable)"no I am sorry, I shouldn't have grabbed you like that" she laughed nervously and unwrapped her hand from his arm, scooting away from him a little so that she wasn't sitting shoulder to shoulder with him. "Sorry if I hurt your leg.." she apologized softly.

"Okay!" Rapunzel said suddenly getting back into the zone "So as I said we have to sit down and sprinkle some of the grass into out laps" she explained as she proceeded to sprinkle grass into her own lap, handing some to Yato.

Yato scattered the grass across his own lap. "Then we both have to hold the branch?"

"Yes!" Rapunzel said energetically "that will be the hard part" she paused "because we both have to somehow hold the branch with both hands to close off our bodies for the ritual?" she said, sounding more like a question than an actual statement as to ask him 'any ideas?'.

"Why don't we each clasp our hands around it by interlinking the fingers on our own hands?" He demonstrated by putting his hands in a praying pose and then intertwining his fingers.

"Oh!" Rapunzel replied, not having thought of that herself "Yes I see how that could work, great idea!" she smiled. Being that the branch was so small, she had no idea how they would both fit their hands on it, but this plain seemed to be foolproof.

Rapunzel slowly entangled her hand in his, blushing momentarily, but then catching herself because after all, this was for science! No time to be nervous right now. This time she placed her hand on the bottom of the stick so that he could place his other hand as well.
