"Maybe... it certainly drew me here" she smiled to herself "I almost didn't get off the buss when I arrived. I was home schooled so the thought of coming to a real school made me really nervous... "Well" Rapunzel said sheepishly, tilting her head and looking away as if remembering something. "I mostly taught myself, actually... My mother taught me how to read and write of course!" she said suddenly to give an explanation of how she even knew the basics "but... beyond that it was my job to learn, so I just started reading! Mother didn't let me go out much, so while she was away at work I would spend days just reading textbooks" she said with a smile.
