The hall was silent save for the quiet tap of Ahiru's footfalls. It had taken days but She had finally made it to the Academy called Camp Olumpus. Her face downcast as she walked silently past people and her mind going slowly over the day she had met Eris.
~Flashback~
"You were a Goddess Ahiru, and it's time you learned to be one again" Eris sounded more like she was reciting a speech she'd read rather than trying to console a girl who'd not only lost everything in this life but now also has another whole life as someone else bumping around demanding she face it.
"You're wrong! I'm just an freak that no one wants to remember!" the tears just wouldn't stop. Why wont they stop. The lake water was cold but she didnt care she just wanted to drown in it. Mayhaps that was why they called it Lake Despair. Ahiru Sniffed and wiped the tears away standing up on shaky legs. No I cant just give up I have to know, maybe if I find out more about this . . . stuff than I can find a way to reverse what's happend. I can have my friends and family back.
Ahiru smiled at the Black haired bueaty infront of her "How do I get there"
Eris smirked
After packing what little she had and walking through miles of forest. She had made it to the school it was just after noon and already the school was as silent as the forest had been. The person at the help desk gave her a map of the school and told her to visit Eris's office tomorrow morning. Ahiru had smiled and started making her way to the dorm room the lady had marked for her. The dorms looked big on the map and it seemed as if she may be sharing the room with another.
~Flashback over~
The arch over the spiral stair case going down read Underland Dorms. With a loud sigh she took the first step when suddenly she tripped falling down the whole flight of stairs.

Sia had been making her way towards the stairs when she saw the lump of a human laying at the bottom. She ran to the young person and knelt down beside her, gently shaking her. "A-are you okay?" The poor girl must have fallen down the stairs, the whole entire flight of them!
'Poor girl, I hope shes alright..." Sia thought to herself. She was used to being shy and scared of others, afraid of what would happen if she got too close to them. Ever since she had met Anna that seemed to change. Maybe she shouldn't be afraid of all these other kids. They used to be her family, if you could say that.

Ahiru jumped up as someone shook her. "Whoa" She groaned dizzy and fell back on her butt. She looked around seeing who it was that had woken her up. "Oh wow!" She gasped "You have really pretty hair!" Her face red in embarresment at her sudden forwardness. Oh god I fell again didnt I She thought worriedly, the poor girl probably saw the whole thing and it cant have looked good.
Ahiru smiled and rubbed her shoulder "So uh. . . Is . . . This the way to the Underworld Dorms?" She laughed nervously.

Sia giggled a bit. "Thanks for the complement." She helped her up, "Yeah this is the dorms for Team Underworld. Want me to show you around?" She was still new here but eh, she'd try to help her as much as she could.

Ahiru grinned. "Wow thanks. Yeah I'd really love a hand. The person at the front desk was no real help and I havent seen Eris, she's the lady that told me about this place." She grabbed the girls hand pulling herself up.
"Again thanks . . . O gosh I dont even know your name. I'm sorry manners isnt really my thing. O god! I mean I never learned proper manners. I mean . . . Oh sh*t!" Ahiru looked at the girl her face red. "HellomynameisAhiru" She said all in one breath energetically shaking her hand.

Sia's eyes widened a bit. "You're very energetic aren't you? I'm Lucressia Nightlock, you may call me Sia though. Reincarnation of Nyx, the goddess of the night."

Lucressia . . . what a nice name. Ahiru nodded "yeah. My old teacher said I was high stung. I think it means I have no impulse control"
Lucressia looked awawkwardly at their hands. She looked at her hand still holding the brunettes and quickly dropped it "Right so Nyx, thats cool. My um . . .Ancestor? is Mnemosyne. . . She uh helped dead people forget thier old lives and could control time." Ahiru started to walk away from the stairs pulling out the map with the dorm room marked on it. She handed the paper to Lucressia. "Any Idea where that room would be?" she said pointing to the x.

Sia took the paper and looked at it. "It looks like its just a door or two down from mine. Come on I'll show you." She walked back towards her room, walking past the cracked door to an closed dorm. "Here." She turned the knob and pushed the door open, revealing a cleaned room. "Here you go. Your room seems a bit bigger than mine." She helped Ahiru carry some of her things inside and set them on the bed.

The room was much bigger than Ahiru expected. She looked all around. "Wow! Oh Yeah, the lady person at the front desk said I would be sharing it with another student but it looks like they arent here yet either."
Ahiru put her back pack down on the bed closest to the door and pulled out her things quickly putting them away in drawers except for a picter in a small frame and a small red pendant necklace which she shoved in her pocket ashamed. "So. what are your classes? they havent given me my sheet yet. I get that tomorrow morning when I see Eris, she kinda creeps me out."

Sia shrugged, " I have no idea what my classes are. I'm new here, same as you are." Sia looked at her, "I met Eris once....but she was talking to my Aunt, which is the one who brought me here." Sia looked down, " I was kind of kicked out of my parents house because of what I am...My aunt is the only one that understands me, but I think she just thinks i'm going insane from my powers...."

Ahiru smiled sadly. So her powers cause her pain too. . .
Ahiru determined to cheer her up smiled and grabbed her hands and spun them around till they landed on the bed laughing. Smiling she turned to Sia "well for what it's worth,I like ya and if being kind and fun is insanity than we're both cuckoo for coco puffs"

Sia blushed lightly then burst out laughing. "I'm actually quite shy around others, you just caught me on a good day." She blew a loose strand of her bangs out of her face, "Cuckoo, cuckoo"

Ahiru couldn't help laughing out loud. "hahahahhaha! Cuckoo!" "I'm glad i did. I was afraid everyone her would be" she paused and put on a mock serious face "Super serious". This is so much fun I hope that i can learn to control my power so we can stay friends Ahiru went into her bag and pulled out a small old flip phone.
"You wanna swap numbers?" she asked hopefully

"Wow. Thats a nice phone. It looks like you hold it alot" Ahiru carefully took the phone and put her number in it than handed her phone to Sia. "So any idea what kind of things are there to do around here?"
