Just a nerd with books (Open)

[Honey/Gogo/Tadashi]

One of the things Tadashi loved in the world was books, he loved them since he was a kid. Ever so often when he had nothing to do, no projects or homework he would come to the library to read for a while. It was like an escape for him, an escape from reality. He makes his way to an empty table with 4 books in his hands; he was a big fan with science fiction books or books mentioning about robotics, as a kid who was fascinated by physics and robots he became a big success. Tadashi was now in Camp Olympus, he had been meaning to go to this school for a long time and now he was here.

With a small smile he opens one of the books, and begins reading quietly.

Jane walked briskly to the library, she was ready to wind down and relax with a nice warm drink and a fantastic book in her hand. Jane had no homework and she was to awkward to actually talk to people and make friends so she decided to read a few books and relax in her own little world. "This is going to be good." Jane whispered to herself as she walked, her hair blowing behind her as her blue eyes gleamed with curiousty and excitment. She quickly walked in as the people around her waved and whispered hello seeing as she were a regular there and quickly walked in between the large bookcases grabbing as many bokks as she could carry. "This should be good for a nights read." She said to herself smiling as she made her way over to her corner of the library. Jane couldnt see that well behind the stack and suddenly she was meant by a table and a person. "Oh no." Jane said as she fell and her books fell all over the boy whom had been reading. "Gosh, I am so sorry." She said blushing in embaressment. "I truly apoligize." Jane said panicking as she rushed to pick up the books, she looked up at him and looked over him for possible injurys. None, good. Jane thought to herself as she smiled awkwardly at him. "I couldnt really see behind my books, so I didn't see you, I'm sorry." Jane said still smiling and blushing.

His mind went off when he felt some books fall on him, h was clearly surprised. He looks over to see a young girl, he blinks several times before getting up to help the girl; his mom had taught him some manners and just letting a woman pick up her stuff with no help seemed rude for him. "No No it's fine let me help miss." He assured kindly as he picks up some of her books. "There's no harm done here. Oh where are my manners. My name is Tadashi." He sets some of the books on the table as he holds out his hand. "What's your name?" he asked

Jane was surprised to see the boy was so nice seeing as most people would have brushed her off or just stepped over her muttering an apology. She was used to that, yes, she hated it but she was used to it. Jane was a little smitten that this boy was so nice to her and quite attractive in her opinion, and he had good manners which was a plus. Jane quickly picked up her books. "Well thank you." Jane said warmly smiling as he helped her pick up the rest of her books. She stood up and adjusted her hair and looked at her large stack of books. "As you can see I'm very clumsy." She laughed slightly, blushing with a smile. "And large stack of books plus clumsiness is bound for disaster." Jane laughed, "I really should have thought about that before I came in here and created this disaster area, but when one fails you always must try again." Jane babbled, she always talked to much when she was nervous. "Oh right, I'm Jane Porter descendent of Athena." Jane smiled introducing herself with a strong handshake. "And obviously as you may tell I'm quite the bookworm." Jane laughed as she gestured to her books. "And nice to meet you Tadashi descendent of philophirosine." Jane said with a wink. "I know that because I literally know everything about everything." Jane said, "and I'm not trying to show off but that's my power is unlimited knowledge of the universe." She explained smiling.

"Its fine,everyone is clumsy, I'm a bit rusty myself when it comes to building." He jokes. "Nice to meet you Jone Porter." He shook her hand as he stuff his hands in his jacket, this girl had the power of intelligence amazing. "That's pretty impressive, I don't know my own powers yet but I can build stuff. Like robots and such, I'm a genius myself actually." He laughed. "Oh geez, pardon me um would you mind if you'd sit with me?, If it would be no trouble that is." Tadashi was social, yes. He wasn't like those nerds that hide themselves away in a lab or anything no, Tadashi is the kind of genius that likes to start a conversation during a nice warm cup of coffee. "And as you can see my Ancestor is the god of kindness, haha I-It runs in the family sometimes."

"Oh well by the looks of it you actually seem quite skilled." Jane smiled as they shook hands, his hands were rough with callouses, probably from working with tools and parts. Jane smiled as she released and put her hands behind her back. "Well maybe your own intelligence is power, I mean you may not be like me but there is always power in knowledge." Jane smiled as she sat on the table thinking of all the possibilities that he had, he could create robots that could help people and maybe even a cure for all diseases, it was amazing to think about. "If you think about it, you could make things to help with all sorts of ailments." Jane said excitedly, "Someday you could cure the world." Jane said poking his head playfully, "and all with the use of your brain." Jane said with a warm smile as he offered her to sit down with him, of course she would say yes. "Of course! It's honestly no trouble at all." Jane smiled as she sat next to him, she knew that he was a descendant of the god of kindness, even without the unlimited knowledge she knew. I mean it wasn't hard to tell that he was a kind soul, "Well obviously your probably one of the nicest guys I know." Jane complimented, she then pulled out a book from her pile and showed it to him. "This is one of the best books I have ever read, you should read it." Jane recommended smiling warmly.

"Oh yeah I know intelligence can be a power or a normal thing, I still think its an amazing power. Well at least for the one that uses it for good." he assured with a smile until he chuckled. "Thanks, My aunt Cass taught me manners but I think being nice is better than being such a jerk; especially when it comes to such beautiful girls like you. They don't need disrespect."
Tadashi then smiled "I have been working on something for years! Its been a big project. I always worry about the sick and injury, they never get better treatment or medical help." He reaches out in his backback to pull out some notes and blueprints. "I have been meaning to change that now, with this robot that call heal the sick and injury." Tadashi sets his notes on the table with a big smile. "If I can pull this off, then imagine the many people I can save!"



He paused at how excited he was and clears his throat. "Oh my apologies." He sits up straight. "Its still needs work, Its not complete but when it is it's going to save lives." The male looks over at Jane and the book she handed to him, he raised an eyebrow "What's it about?" He asked

Jane smiled at his knowledge and intelligence, it was nice to see someone as enthused about it as her and nice to see someone whom wanted to use it for good. Jane listened to him talk about intelligence with an excited smile and a chuckle now and again. Jane listened to him talk about his family, you could tell he cared about them which was very sweet. Jane was surprised when she heard him say she was beautiful, she almost choked when she heard it and blushed madly, Jane wasn't used to being called beautiful, pretty, yes. Sweet, yes. Cute, yes, not beautiful. Jane didn't say anything just blushed and smiled. Jane then noted that he was working on something to help the sick and injured, Jane was always going and trying to help in hospitals and reading to the sick and playing with injured, she volunteered there at least once or even twice a week, Jane just loved helping people and was glad he did to. "Well can I see your plans, Maybe I could help?" Jane offered, "wow these look amazing, maybe if you changed this here and made him more friendly and got more medication available to him." Jane explained going on and about the plans with him, she was about as excited as he was about this. "Maybe if you made him able to detect injury and have him connected the pharmaceutical industry then he get more things he needs to help people." Jane looked at him curiously letting her ideas flow. Jane didn't want it to see as if she was taking over, it was still his project and he had control but she always liked to bounce ideas. "I'm sorry if I'm talking to much but this just so fascinating." Jane smiled, biting her lower lip as ideas flooded her.

Tadashi looks up at Jane with a smile, she was willing to help him with a project that meant his whole life? That would be great! Two smart minds together and the results would be endless! "That would be great! Yes." He answered, Tadashi listened closely to Jane's plans and ideas since they were helpful. "No, No its fine ideas and brainstorming are good! That's a start." After all that talk and sketching they did for Baymax, the robot that Tadashi was making. Both of them had a normal conversation about their lives



"Yeah and the seventh test I did he punched me in the face." He laughed lightly "I'm on my 80'th time testing him, you can tell it took me years to make him."

Jane laughed as she sat back in her chair, her hair was slightly messy and you could see they had been working hard. Cups of coffees littered the table and Jane was on her third one. "Really?" Jane laughed, "Wow, this must be really important to you." Jane said with an awed smiled as she leaned back her cup in her lap. Jane thought back on her life and could say that she had never that passionate about something, things came to her easily, yeah she had dreams and goals but she had never worked that hard on something. "Well I guess that's better than getting yourself caught in a horde of monkeys after a baby monkey you were sketching stole your drawing, god I was so scared." Jane laughed remembering it. "Oh and there was this other time I got to speak to gorillas and then these birds all perched on me and it was amazing." Jane said spouting about her adventures with her father around the world. "I used to travel, but I don't do that much anymore." Jane said sadly before smiling slightly and looking at him. "Yeah now I volunteer at the local hospital and usually take care of the sick and play with the kids, sometimes I even read to them." Jane said, "I love it." She said honestly, "Helping people always makes me happy." Jane said a warm smile on her face. "After that I usually escape into my corner with my books or go to the lake to sketch, I'm mostly alone, because people think I'm odd." Jane smiled, "I guess everyone is pretty odd in their own way, just some show more than others." Jane winked, smiling playfully. "What do you like to do when your not working on Baymax." Jane asked before holding a up a finger. "Wait, I think I know, let me guess you like to work more on Baymax." Jane laughed before getting serious again. "But really, what your interests? What do you like to do in your free time?" Jane asked quirking an eyebrow curiously.

"My free time?" He questioned. "I mostly help my aunt with her restaurant, I'm her waiter. Its fun because I get to talk and socialize with other people. It brings me closer to the costumers and I make friends everyday." He said playong with his cap.



"Other than that, I go to my collage and hang out there with my friends, maybe work on a few projects." Tadashi smiled at those memories. He really did like working at his aunts restaurant and going to my collage." He explains. "When I get home I just watch some T.V and takw care of my let cat."

Tadashi then laughef at what Jane said, she got attacked by monkeys? "Thats bad luck for you, but im glad to see your alright." Chuckles. "Tavel? Thats amazing! I wish to travel around the world someday." He sighed with a smile. "Helping people is a unique way of showing my powers I guess, I like making people happy and well, im very odd but in a good way. People just have a hard time expressing their oddness."

Jane listened to him as he told her more details about his life, it was no surprise to her that he was what some would say a social-butterfly for he was very social. Jane thought ot was so sweet the way he talked about everything with such a brightness and friendleness that you felt like it was your home as well as his, she thought about how his life was so different from hers. Normal, friendly, college guy that worked as a waiter and liked to help people and make robots. It was so different from her life before she came to camp olympus, where she and her father went on adventures to see the world and take notes and make new scientific discoveries, it was so fast paced compared to her life now and especially to his. "Well I have to say it sounds very nice, I've always wanted to go to college and have a job like normal teenager, but I guess that was never the life for me, and also I would have loved to have a cat." Jane smiled warmly, "but I have to ask, what other projects have you worked on?" Jane wondered tiliting her head slightly. Jane then laughed at his amazement at her travels. It wasn't all good, sometimes it was dirty and rainy and everything was just rotten, but she still loved it and sometimes, even when she having a bad time she would find a moment where everything was amazing and worth it. "Well it was pretty amazing, I'm sure you would love it, you remind me a lot of my dad you know, and he was a great man."" Jane smiled fondly, remembering her father before a pang of sadness struck her, she quickly shrugged it off and replaced it with a smile. "If you could pick one place in the world to visit, which one would it be?" She asked him.

"Their not important porjects, I only help my friends with theirs like one of them is trying to make a regular bike to go faster than the speed of light." He said with. "And one place?  Well that's a tought one actually, but I always wanted to go to England." Tadashi beams. "I always heard so many fascinating things over there, like the tea and other stuff, I even picked that place as a topic for my History class its very interesting."



His smile then went down when Jane told him that he reminded her as her father, he sighed. "I'm sure he was, what happened to him if I may ask? I-If that's ok to ask that is."

"Well that sounds very interesting." Jane laughed as she sat next to him, how amazing it would be to have a bike to go at the speed of light, pretty amazing. Jane tilted her head, "Well everything is important of it makes a difference in the world." She commented before pulling out a flyer from her pocket. "This is the inventors expo, Inventors come and share there ideas with the world, from the sound of it you would love it." Jane smiled handing him the flyer that had all the information on it. Jane smiled brightly when he said England, she was from England and it was her home and she was always at home and happy to be there. "I'm from England!" Jane said excitedly, "and yes it is true we drink a lot of tea and the history and just the everything." Jane said dreamily remembering the days at home with her friends and her father. Jane's smile faltered when she heard him ask, she hated talking about it but maybe she needed to at least to him. "He got sick and very weak." She said quietly as her eyes watered, "thats why I never travel very much any more because I always went with him then he got sick and just..." Jane trailed off trying not to cry as she leaned on Tadashi, she needed a friend right now.

Tadashi's smile brightens. "You're from England? Thatd amazing! Wow this is incredible!" He said until he chuckled in embarrassment. "Oh sorry about that, must of got over excited."



He then frowns at what Jane said about her father, he fekt bad for her. He slowly reaches his hand out so it can land on her shoulder. "I'm really sorry Jane, that must have been tough believe me I know. I never met my parents, i've spent my life witg my Aunt I practically call her my mother, I dont even remember how my parents wete like." He said softly. "But its going to be alright, trust me. As long as you remember him you can feel him close to you In your heart, always."
