Mavis was sitting in the corner of the shop. She already ordered a coffee 10 minutes ago but it seemed like she wasnt going to get it. However mavis was to shy to go back and ask for it so she just sat there waiting.

Yato was sitting in one of the comfy chairs with his iced caramel coffee when he noticed a girl with black hair sitting alone without a drink nearby. She could be waiting for her drink, but she'd been there for a while now. Taking his feet off the table in front of him he went over to say hello.

She snapped out of her thoughts as a boy said hi to her. Mavis looked around to be sure he wasnt takking to someone else. Then gave him a little smile "hi!"

Yato smiled back. "My name's Yato! I just noticed you were alone and I thought you might like some company. May I ask why you don't have a drink?" He tilted his head quizzically.

"Woa thank you. Im mavis!" she said a bit shocked that someone acually talked to her. She looked down " I ehh.. Ordered a coffee but they diddnt bring it yet..I think they might forgot me"

Yato's expression shifted into one that looked just short of scandalized. "That's unacceptable," he said, taking her receipt and going over to the counter since there was currently no one in line, showing them the receipt and gesturing to Mavis.

"Wait you dont have t.." the boy already walked away to get her her coffee. She smiled a bit As he pointed at her. The man who made the coffee looked at her. She waved a bit shy.

When he got the drink he smiled at the barista before bouncing happily back over to her and giving her a bright smile.

"Thanks you really saved me" she said with a smile she stood up and offered him a handshake: "again Im mavis!" maybe he would be her first friend.

She started to laugh because of his energy. "Hecate" She replied waiting how he would react. Most of them would be scared because that would mean mavis was a witch.

Mavis smiled in a relief. " so you dont think im a freak? " she thought out loud. Mavis covered her mouth. " did..did I really say that out loud? Oh god.. Sorry" she started to talk really fast because she feeled embarrest.
