After the love of his life was murdered by a jealous man, Vincent found that he could still see her tortured spirit lingering in the land of the living. He then figured out it was because of his heritage. He led her to the afterlife, hoping to someday reunite with her but that will never happen so long as people need him to lead them to the afterlife. He hates his job and believes he will never find peace.
